Jackson, Mississippi — Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) will present the 2018 Alliance for Educational Excellence Award to TEK Productions during PTK Catalyst, its annual convention, being held April 19-21, in Kansas City, Missouri. The award honors excellence is reserved for organizations and individuals that have provided extraordinary leadership on a national or international level.

“We applaud TEK Productions for their outstanding commitment to PTK, its mission, and its members,” said PTK President and CEO Dr. Lynn Tincher-Ladner. “As a result of their work, we are able to celebrate the success of our members each year in a truly extraordinary way.”

TEK Productions is a full-service production company providing creative, technical, and management support for live events throughout the world. TEK features full-service capabilities in production, hospitality and networking, event design, media creation, and exhibits design and fabrication. It was established in 2000, and is headquartered in Orlando, Florida. CEO/Producer Tom Kervitsky and President/Executive Producer Michael Compton will accept the award on behalf of TEK.

“The Phi Theta Kappa Annual Convention is a highlight for our team,” Kervitsky said. “The accomplishments of the attendees are awe-inspiring, and their energy and exuberance are contagious. To play a part in helping celebrate their achievement is a reward unto itself.”

PTK’s relationship with TEK began when they produced the Society’s annual convention in 2010, which was held in Orlando.

“We proudly support Phi Theta Kappa in their mission and value the genuine partnership that we have formed over these last 8 years,” Compton said. “We look forward to our continued partnership in the future!”
