Transfer Edge prepares community college students for successful transfer to four-year institutions. The program guides students through funding their education, researching transfer options, selecting suitable schools, submitting strong applications, and ensuring a smooth transition to university life. This comprehensive course equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the transfer process confidently and effectively.
Competitive Edge
Competitive Edge is a professional development program designed to build essential skills that are often not covered in the classroom. The curriculum focuses on enhancing critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and professionalism, ensuring that students are well-prepared for their careers and leadership roles.
Employment Edge
Employment Edge is a four-part course that prepares students for the workforce by teaching them how to find, apply for, and secure jobs. It covers essential skills such as resume and cover letter writing, networking, interview techniques, and salary negotiation, providing comprehensive guidance for successful employment.
Healthcare Edge
Healthcare Edge prepares students for careers in healthcare by covering essential topics such as patient care, workplace professionalism, self-care, and job-seeking skills. The curriculum includes case studies, recommendations from healthcare professionals, and practical advice to help students succeed in the healthcare industry.
Research Edge
Research Edge equips students with advanced research skills through Phi Theta Kappa’s Honors in Action program. Leadership Development
Leadership Development Studies uses a humanities-based approach to cultivate leadership skills through dialogue-based learning.
