Members who plan to enroll as full-time students are eligible for a scholarship of $4,000 per year, and those who plan to enroll as part-time students are eligible for a scholarship of $1,500 per year. Students must submit proof of induction prior to matriculating at Cedar Crest College to receive these scholarships.
What other opportunities are available for transfer students at your institution to assist them in successfully transitioning from community college?
In addition to one-on-one advising with dedicated transfer counselors, Cedar Crest students also have access to our Student Success Center. Designed to help students achieve their academic goals, the Student Success Center is a one-stop shop for student services and support programs, including academic and study skills tutoring, advising, and disability resources. Advisors guide transfer students as they make academic decisions and assist them in developing meaningful goals, exploring interests, identifying career paths, and fostering individual responsibility for their education.
Cedar Crest College offers generous transfer credit policies that allow students to save money and valuable time. Cedar Crest will accept up to 68 credits from a two-year college and up to 90 credits from a four-year college.
Transfer students can earn credit for previous coursework — students who have earned an associate degree from a regionally accredited two-year or four-year institution satisfy the equivalent of the college’s liberal arts requirements, and students in the School of Adult and Graduate Education can receive credit for experience gained on the job or in the military.
