Phi Theta Kappa’s Honors Institute is back! Join us May 29 – June 1, 2025, in Chicago, IL, at Loyola University for the return of PTK’s most beloved and immersive academic event.

  • 1 Round of Educational Forums
  • Dorm accommodations arriving Thursday, May 29, and departing Sunday, June 1
  • Dining Hall Meals from Thursday dinner through Sunday breakfast

Honors Institute has long been considered the crown jewel of PTK experiences—a transformative, deep-dive into learning and leadership that challenges students to think critically, engage in meaningful discussions, and connect with scholars and peers from across the country. This marks our first Honors Institute since COVID-19, making it an extra-special occasion to reunite and rediscover the power of ideas.

This unique learning experience that brings students and advisors together to investigate PTK's Honors Study Topic through enhanced educational activities that push boundaries, offer new perspectives, and challenge participants' ways of thinking.

Honors Institute activates learning through facilitated small-group seminars structured to maximize participation, foster deep understanding, and encourage risk-taking among students. It is designed as an intimate educational experience while also giving students a sense of what living on and navigating a university campus is like.

Important Age Restriction Notice

Due to insurance requirements set by Loyola University, no one under the age of 18 will be permitted to attend this event. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any exceptions to this policy, including the allowance of chaperones for minors.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us ensure a smooth and compliant event experience for all attendees.
