The Alpha Tau Zeta Chapter, established in 1991, is home to over 2,234 members and alumni, all committed to making a lasting impact through leadership, service, and academic excellence.
The Alpha Tau Zeta Chapter at Athens Technical College has been recognized internationally as an award-winning chapter, receiving accolades such as 2024 Honors in Action Project Award, 2024 Honors in Action Project - Theme Award, 2024 Distinguished Chapter Award, 2024 Distinguished College Administrator Award, 2022 The Shirley B. Members of the Alpha Tau Zeta Chapter who aspire to receive a bachelor's degree have access to millions of dollars in transfer scholarsips from PTK's four-year partners--these awards provide significant savings towards tuition at over 800 four-year colleges and universities. Also, $65,750 has been awarded in competitive scholarships from PTK's Foundation in recent years. These scholarships help ease the financial burden of college, enabling members to focus on their studies and future careers.
