Manhattan College Launches PTK Scholarship

Manhattan College is the latest institution to announce a $2,000 per year transfer scholarship for PTK members!

Tell us about your college’s new transfer scholarship for members of Phi Theta Kappa.

Manhattan College is firmly committed to supporting transfer students through the application and enrollment process. We are pleased to announce a transfer student scholarship for members of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK). Manhattan College welcomes members of this distinguished international College Honor Society to apply and be given consideration for this prestigious scholarship. Scholarship amounts are set annually at $2,000.

Why does your college feel that it is important to offer a scholarship opportunity for members?

Manhattan College is known as one of the premier institutions in the country for Return on Investment. While we pay close attention to graduate outcomes, we also remain focused on closing the financial gap for current students. We are confident offering a PTK scholarship will help make a quality education from Manhattan College as affordable as possible.

Are there other transfer scholarships that could be stacked with your Phi Theta Kappa award?

Yes, Manhattan College offers an array of institutional merit-based awards/scholarships that could be stacked with the PTK award.

Are there any special events or deadlines on your recruitment calendar that you would like to share?

Manhattan College offers Transfer Tuesdays and Thursdays on a weekly basis- a fast track admissions event offered virtually or in-person on campus. Students are able to send or bring with them official transcripts and complete an application (application fee is waived) to the College when meeting. Depending on the applicant’s GPA and academic rigor, the letter of recommendation and personal essay may also be waived. Additionally, Manhattan College offers a similar event exclusively for military connected applicants known as Military Monday
