Scholar Dash is PTK’s annual 5K fundraiser, raising money to create Golden Opportunity Scholarships – providing students financial support to access the life-changing opportunities offered to PTK members. In the last two years, Scholar Dash has created 1,603 Golden Opportunity Scholarships!

The top individual fundraisers and the top region are being recognized for their contributions with a brick located in the Alpha Courtyard at Phi Theta Kappa’s International Headquarters. This year, 782 PTK members, alumni, advisors, administrators and friends walked, ran, jogged, and donated to raise over $47,000 and create nearly 800 Golden Opportunity Scholarships.

Brooke Jankowsky from the Michigan Region and PTK’s current International Vice President for Division III will receive a prize for being the individual to raise the most money, at $1,750, and being the individual with the most donors, 46. Corina Stewart from the Georgia Region, Mathew Herrman from the Oklahoma/Arkansas Region, Michael Rodriguez, International Vice President for Division II from the Florida Region, and Amy Winters from the Kansas/Nebraska Region also placed within the Top 5 Individuals.

The Florida Region is recognized as the Top Team after raising $3,809, and the Texas Region is recognized as the region with the most individual donors, 62. The other three Top Teams include the Michigan Region, the Colorado/Wyoming Region, and the Carolinas Region.

Medallions will also be sent to the first 50 people who have raised $240.

While the deadline for prizes has passed, it is not too late to help change lives by contributing and helping PTK reach its goal of creating more than 2,500 Golden Opportunity Scholarships. Click here to donate!
