Tell us about your college’s new transfer scholarship for Phi Theta Kappa members:
We are pleased to offer $1,000 annually to five active PTK members who are continuing their education at Wilmington University. This is a competitive scholarship and an application is required. The application for the 2021-22 academic year will be made available in January 2021.
Are there other transfer scholarships that could be stacked with your Phi Theta Kappa award?
In addition to the PTK Recognition Scholarship, PTK members are eligible to apply for several other need- and merit-based scholarships. Most tribute and named scholarship funds are awarded annually, while the Wilmington University Scholarship is awarded in the fall and spring.
What other opportunities are available for transfer students at your institution to assist them in successfully transitioning from community college?
When getting started at WilmU, you have the ability to connect with a Student Recruiter via two-way texting and Zoom appointment. You also have the ability to connect with WilmU faculty to discuss academic programs and career pathways. We try to make the transfer process as easy and seamless as possible; you can transfer up to 90 college credits, which will save you time and tuition dollars.
