Welcome to the information page for the Alpha Beta Phi Chapter at Midland College, Main Campus! We are thrilled to have you here and are excited to welcome you to our community of high achievers. Joining the Alpha Beta Phi Chapter means becoming a part of a powerful community of diverse college students dedicated to making their own futures through service and leadership. The Alpha Beta Phi Chapter, established in 1976, is home to over 3,340 members and alumni, all committed to making a lasting impact through leadership, service, and academic excellence.

The chapter leaders at the Alpha Beta Phi Chapter have been working on service and research projects both on campus and in the community. Here are a few of their recent projects:

  • The Importance of Nostalgia and Play for the Aging Process
  • Learning Modules for Critical Thinking and Media Literacy for College Students
  • Establishing a College Campus Podcast

Scholarships

Members of the Alpha Beta Phi Chapter who aspire to receive a bachelor's degree have access to millions of dollars in transfer scholarsips from PTK's four-year partners--these awards provide significant savings towards tuition at over 800 four-year colleges and universities. Also, $6,000 has been awarded in competitive scholarships from PTK's Foundation in recent years. These scholarships help ease the financial burden of college, enabling members to focus on their studies and future careers.
