Joining the Alpha Iota Gamma Chapter means becoming a part of a powerful community of diverse college students dedicated to making their own futures through service and leadership. The Alpha Iota Gamma Chapter, established in 1983, is home to over 11,287 members and alumni, all committed to making a lasting impact through leadership, service, and academic excellence.

The chapter leaders at the Alpha Iota Gamma Chapter have been working on service and research projects both on campus and in the community. Here are a few of their recent projects:

• Advocacy for Sensory Play on the Johnson County Community College Campus
• Connecting adult students with their unique styles of play and opportunities for play in their locality
• Tiny Houses to End Homelessness

Scholarships

Members of the Alpha Iota Gamma Chapter who aspire to receive a bachelor's degree have access to millions of dollars in transfer scholarsips from PTK's four-year partners--these awards provide significant savings towards tuition at over 800 four-year colleges and universities. Also, $36,630 has been awarded in competitive scholarships from PTK's Foundation in recent years. These scholarships help ease the financial burden of college, enabling members to focus on their studies and future careers.
