Joining the Alpha Omega Zeta Chapter means becoming a part of a powerful community of diverse college students dedicated to making their own futures through service and leadership. The Alpha Omega Zeta Chapter, established in 1994, is home to over 2,752 members and alumni, all committed to making a lasting impact through leadership, service, and academic excellence.
The chapter leaders at the Alpha Omega Zeta Chapter have been working on service and research projects both on campus and in the community. Here are a few of their recent projects:
- Determining areas for improvement for the Laramie County Community College Foundation Scholarship Program.
- Ag Building Garden Renovation
- Hosting Focus Groups and Survey on Student Pathway Experiences
Scholarships
Members of the Alpha Omega Zeta Chapter who aspire to receive a bachelor's degree have access to millions of dollars in transfer scholarships from PTK's four-year partners--these awards provide significant savings towards tuition at over 800 four-year colleges and universities. Also, $8,250 has been awarded in competitive scholarships from PTK's Foundation in recent years. These scholarships help ease the financial burden of college, enabling members to focus on their studies and future careers.
