Joining the Alpha Rho Pi Chapter means becoming a part of a powerful community of diverse college students dedicated to making their own futures through service and leadership. The Alpha Rho Pi Chapter, established in 1990, is home to over 3,076 members and alumni, all committed to making a lasting impact through leadership, service, and academic excellence.

The chapter leaders at the Alpha Rho Pi Chapter have been working on service and research projects both on campus and in the community. Here are a few of their recent projects:

• Future Hawk Owl Legacy Project Creating a mentorship program and leadership academy to build the inner leader of at-risk youth at an area Title One school.
• Utilizing Art and Activism to Build New, Inclusive Legacies in a Divided Community
• You Belong: Increasing Inclusion by Building Community

Scholarships

Members of the Alpha Rho Pi Chapter who aspire to receive a bachelor's degree have access to millions of dollars in transfer scholarsips from PTK's four-year partners--these awards provide significant savings towards tuition at over 800 four-year colleges and universities. Also, $21,000 has been awarded in competitive scholarships from PTK's Foundation in recent years. These scholarships help ease the financial burden of college, enabling members to focus on their studies and future careers.
