Joining the Alpha Sigma Zeta Chapter means becoming a part of a powerful community of diverse college students dedicated to making their own futures through service and leadership. The Alpha Sigma Zeta Chapter, established in 1990, is home to over 7,234 members and alumni, all committed to making a lasting impact through leadership, service, and academic excellence.

The chapter leaders at the Alpha Sigma Zeta Chapter have been working on service and research projects both on campus and in the community. Here are a few of their recent projects:

• Social media project to improve our campus communication and increase student engagement and enrollment
• Creating a Legacy of Truth by Challenging Our Inherited Ideas About Mental Health and Disability
• Creating a Legacy of Racial Justice in Syracuse: Moving Past the Perceptions of Progress to Build a Better Community

Scholarships

Members of the Alpha Sigma Zeta Chapter who aspire to receive a bachelor's degree have access to millions of dollars in transfer scholarsips from PTK's four-year partners--these awards provide significant savings towards tuition at over 800 four-year colleges and universities. Also, $45,500 has been awarded in competitive scholarships from PTK's Foundation in recent years. These scholarships help ease the financial burden of college, enabling members to focus on their studies and future careers.
