Welcome to the information page for the Beta Eta Alpha Chapter at Southeastern Community College, West Burlington Campus! Joining the Beta Eta Alpha Chapter means becoming a part of a powerful community of diverse college students dedicated to making their own futures through service and leadership. The Beta Eta Alpha Chapter, established in 1997, is home to over 2,515 members and alumni, all committed to making a lasting impact through leadership, service, and academic excellence.

The chapter leaders at the Beta Eta Alpha Chapter have been working on service and research projects both on campus and in the community. Here are a few of their recent projects:

  • Combating College Student's Mental Health Issues by Playing with Puppies
  • Southeastern Community College Recreation Center Ribbon Cutting
  • Strengthening the College's relationship with the Southeast Iowa Community

Scholarships

Members of the Beta Eta Alpha Chapter who aspire to receive a bachelor's degree have access to millions of dollars in transfer scholarships from PTK's four-year partners--these awards provide significant savings towards tuition at over 800 four-year colleges and universities. Also, $12,750 has been awarded in competitive scholarships from PTK's Foundation in recent years. These scholarships help ease the financial burden of college, enabling members to focus on their studies and future careers.
