We are thrilled to have you here and are excited to welcome you to our community of high achievers. Joining the Beta Iota Zeta Chapter means becoming a part of a powerful community of diverse college students dedicated to making their own futures through service and leadership. The Beta Iota Zeta Chapter, established in 2000, is home to over 2,882 members and alumni, all committed to making a lasting impact through leadership, service, and academic excellence.

The chapter leaders at the Beta Iota Zeta Chapter have been working on service and research projects both on campus and in the community. Here are a few of their recent projects:

• PTK Pumpkin Pop-Up: Encouraging Outdoor Activity and Good Mental Health
• A campus clean-up day. By cleaning the East Mississippi Community College’s Golden Triangle (EMCC-GT) campus, we are doing our part to make this establishment a great campus to attend.
• Supporting Community Nutrition to Empower Student Success

Scholarships

Members of the Beta Iota Zeta Chapter who aspire to receive a bachelor's degree have access to millions of dollars in transfer scholarships from PTK's four-year partners--these awards provide significant savings towards tuition at over 800 four-year colleges and universities. Also, $24,000 has been awarded in competitive scholarships from PTK's Foundation in recent years. These scholarships help ease the financial burden of college, enabling members to focus on their studies and future careers.
