Joining the Beta Theta Omicron Chapter means becoming a part of a powerful community of diverse college students dedicated to making their own futures through service and leadership. The Beta Theta Omicron Chapter, established in 1999, is home to over 3,340 members and alumni, all committed to making a lasting impact through leadership, service, and academic excellence.
The chapter leaders at the Beta Theta Omicron Chapter have been working on service and research projects both on campus and in the community. Here are a few of their recent projects:
- Visualizing Student Success and Increasing Equity on Campus
- Impact of Integrated Educational Games on Academic Achievement and Community Development in a Community College Setting
- Encouraging students to make e-Portfolios
Scholarships
Members of the Beta Theta Omicron Chapter who aspire to receive a bachelor's degree have access to millions of dollars in transfer scholarships from PTK's four-year partners--these awards provide significant savings towards tuition at over 800 four-year colleges and universities. Also, $213,500 has been awarded in competitive scholarships from PTK's Foundation in recent years. These scholarships help ease the financial burden of college, enabling members to focus on their studies and future careers.
