Welcome to the information page for the Phi Omicron Chapter at Waubonsee Community College, Sugar Grove Campus! Joining the Phi Omicron Chapter means becoming a part of a powerful community of diverse college students dedicated to making their own futures through service and leadership. The Phi Omicron Chapter, established in 1970, is home to over 8,373 members and alumni, all committed to making a lasting impact through leadership, service, and academic excellence.

The chapter leaders at the Phi Omicron Chapter have been working on service and research projects both on campus and in the community. Here are a few of their recent projects:

  • Seminars to Assist Students Virtually
  • Phi Theta Kappa Awareness Activities

Scholarships

Members of the Phi Omicron Chapter who aspire to receive a bachelor's degree have access to millions of dollars in transfer scholarsips from PTK's four-year partners--these awards provide significant savings towards tuition at over 800 four-year colleges and universities. Also, $5,750 has been awarded in competitive scholarships from PTK's Foundation in recent years. These scholarships help ease the financial burden of college, enabling members to focus on their studies and future careers.
