Joining the Sigma Lambda Chapter means becoming a part of a powerful community of diverse college students dedicated to making their own futures through service and leadership. The Sigma Lambda Chapter, established in 1968, is home to over 11,789 members and alumni, all committed to making a lasting impact through leadership, service, and academic excellence.

The chapter leaders at the Sigma Lambda Chapter have been working on service and research projects both on campus and in the community. Here are a few of their recent projects:

• Increasing Student Engagement at On-Campus Events
• Fostering Positive Educational Outcomes Through Play-Based Learning
• Supporting and Promoting the Campus Food Pantry

Scholarships

Members of the Sigma Lambda Chapter who aspire to receive a bachelor's degree have access to millions of dollars in transfer scholarsips from PTK's four-year partners--these awards provide significant savings towards tuition at over 800 four-year colleges and universities. Also, $28,330 has been awarded in competitive scholarships from PTK's Foundation in recent years. These scholarships help ease the financial burden of college, enabling members to focus on their studies and future careers.
